A Note From Our Founders:

Since founding Lizzie Fortunato, Kathryn’s and my mission has always been to build a sustainable brand with an emphasis on intentional and just production. We recognize the need to do better; to continually foster an equitable workplace and to more actively promote justice in our community and fight racism in our industry. We have been focused on actionable ways to foster meaningful change…

1.

We will audit our supply chain. We are currently tapping our network to discover more NYC-based BIPOC vendors, like metalsmiths & stones setters.

2.

We will volunteer our time and resources to mentor BIPOC entrepreneurs. We want to share our knowledge (after 12 years in the industry) with a more diverse community. Please email lizzie@lizziefortunato.com to set-up a call.

3.

We will continue to use women of color in our campaigns, but acknowledge that there is room to hire more BIPOC makeup artists, photographers, and talent to support the image we present to the world.

4.

We are committed to giving back to BIPOC organizations via our rigorous donation schedule. We will ensure that more of our charitable products are dedicated to causes that focus on racial justice.

5.

We will guarantee that our team members have paid time off for voting and volunteering to promote active community engagement at all levels of Lizzie Fortunato.

Our work here has just begun. We are committed to using our platform as an agent for good. We will lean into our values and we welcome feedback and dialogue on how we can do better.

This Pride Month, 15% of sales will go to the Audre Lorde Project & the Southern Poverty Law Center. Both organizations work to support lgbtq+ people of color and combat hate and bigotry through litigation  and advocacy. If nothing catches your eye, we encourage you to donate what you can!
